About Our Clovis Law Firm

The law firm of R. Max Best, P.A., was founded in 1990 and is one of the most experienced firms in eastern New Mexico. Currently consisting of one attorney, we have an experienced legal staff, including two legal assistants and one other part-time staff member. We are a client-oriented firm and provide legal services to many clients and businesses throughout eastern New Mexico and surrounding areas, as well as many local small and mid-sized businesses. We have a strong regional practice (eastern New Mexico and west Texas) in our primary practice areas of business and commercial law, real estate, estate planning, probate and taxation.

R. Max Best represents many of the firm’s business clients and has a business, commercial, real property, estate and probate law practice, together with extensive experience representing land owners on wind and solar energy transactions.

The firm does not practice criminal law, family law or handle debtor bankruptcy cases.
